[No one knocked, but something has been dropped off outside the door of Apartment #304 today—an open wicker basket made out of purple vines. There are three items nestled inside of it: one box for Casey, one box for Hunter, and a pint of blackberries contained in a glass jar that's cool to the touch.
Inside the box marked for Casey is a familiar mystic cocoon with a piece of tape stuck to one side, and a letter.]
This does not make up for my slight, nor is it meant to. I pass this cocoon on to you, instead, as a token of my appreciation for everything that came after. That was a difficult experience, to say the least, and one that may have ended much worse for me if not for your assistance.
Perhaps there's something to relying on others after all.
You seemed to be familiar with how this item works, so it's yours now. I've already activated it, so all you need to do is decide what you'd like to store inside. When you do, peel the tape to uncover the activation rune, and touch it to the object to register it. Once it's stored inside the cocoon, you'll be able to retrieve it with a push of the button, and vice versa.
Good luck with the recipes.
— Baron Draxum
PS. Share the blackberries with Hunter, but keep the jar when you're done. It's been enchanted to always stay cool, so you may keep it if it interests you, or pass it on to another.
